Hi everyone!

My name is Michelle! I don't have any permanent nicknames, but a lot of people call me Shell or Shellie. :)

I am blessed to live in the beautiful state of Alabama; Dothan to be exact. We are known for our peanuts and even have a festival for them every Fall. I live an hour away from Panama City Beach, which is amazing! I have lived in Dothan all my life, but am looking forward to seeing where God leads me in the future.

As far as school, I have no idea what I want to do so I am taking a semester off to try to figure out where God is leading me.

I work at Eagle Eye Outfitters, a retail store in Dothan. I absolutely love my job. I get to sell all the cool clothes. :)

When I'm not working, I love being with my friends and boyfriend or being outside. When it's hot I love to be in the water! Whether it be in the pool, beach, lake or bay. I love to fish, read books by Nicholas Sparks, and play and watch most sports (especially Alabama football. Roll Tide!) I also really enjoy babysitting! I babysit for the people I work for, and their two daughters are like my little sisters. Children make me happy! My favorite thing to do is laugh and make everyone around me laugh when I can.

My likes and dislikes. I dislike snakes very much! I like working out and being active, but dislike running with a passion! I like English and History, and think Math came from the devil himself. I like doing theatre and was on a theatre scholarship at Wallace Community College for a year. I strongly dislike scary movies, but haunted houses are kinda fun. I like chicken and japanese food. I could basically live off of the two. No sushi though.

I have only been on mission trips within the states. Haiti will be my first trip out of the states, and will also be my first time flying!!

I'm super excited about going to Haiti! I feel this is exactly where God is leading me. At Passion 2011, I got a strong love for Haiti and I cannot wait till it gets here and see how our awesome God is going to work! :)
