Hello:) I am Courtney - and I am hoping this works this time!

I don't really have any permanent nicknames but most people just call me Court.

Right now, I live in Prescott, AZ but we'll see how long that lasts. I would love to go where ever my feet take me!

Again, right now, I go to Yavapai College but I am hoping to transfer to a larger school to study Psychology. I would love, love, love to get a degree in Counseling and use that on the mission field.

I wouldn't necessarily say that I have a job, but I am a Resident Assistant in the dorms at school - so that helps with room and board. I also don't consider myself supported financially by my parents, loans pay for most of my schooling.

For fun, I love being outside! Running is my absolute favorite! Prescott is amazing for hiking and kayaking (two of my other favorites!) I'm a bookworm, give me a book and you'll make my day! My friends are pretty much the same as me - we love to be outdoors. There is this mountain in Prescott called Sierra Prieta and we take my truck up there all the time to hang out and catch the sights. Considering Prescott closes down at 5pm, my best friend and I tend to take late night trips to WalMart (haha.)

Hmm, what do I like? I like the sun! I like chicken a lot (I don't like red meat, it makes me sick). I don't like to drive. I like writing. I like turning the heater on and putting the car windows down when it's freezing out and vice versa. I actually like most things - except lima beans, those are gross.

I've been to Haiti twice before, each for 10 days at a time and each prior to the earthquake. I went with a small group of people from my church and we worked with Three Angels Orphanage (which is no longer standing due to the destruction).

I am SO excited to have conversations on this trip. I want to get to know people and hear their stories. I'm so exicted to see what God has in store for all of us and the people of Haiti. I can't wait!
